S: Singapore

April 22, 2015

Singapore. That little island nation where I lived from 2005 to 2010. The place where I spent what I believe were my formative years. The place where I met S. And a handful of crazy, wonderful people. Where I made some friends for life. The place where I discovered that running was something I could do, and found that it was fun. Cycling on the beach. Running on the beach. Badminton with friends. My happy place – the National Library at Esplanade. Yoga. 10k runs and half marathon, and the one full marathon. Singlish. Kaya toast and teh halia. Maggi mee goreng. Prata. Little India. NTU. NUS. Live music. Concerts. Eric Clapton. Coldplay. Indian Ocean. The year of mad birthday surprises. Weekend trips. Thai food. Dumb charades. Volunteering. So much fun. So. Many. Memories.
